Terms of Service
KNUST pilot version. Plain language, kept short on purpose — a lawyer reviews this before we scale past the pilot.

What Inqlo is
Inqlo connects you to print shops near KNUST. You upload a document, approve exactly what will be printed, pay by mobile money, and collect using a short code. We run the app, the payment, and the document handling — we are not a print shop ourselves.
Shops are independent businesses
Every shop on Inqlo is an independently owned business, not an Inqlo branch or employee. Each shop sets its own prices and hours, and is responsible for the quality of its own printing. We verify every shop in person before it can receive orders, and we suspend shops that break the rules — but the printing itself is the shop's work, not ours.
Our fee
You pay a convenience fee on top of the shop's own printing price: GHS 0.50 when the printing costs GHS 2.00 or less, and GHS 1.00 when it costs more than that. It depends only on the size of that order — never on who you are or how often you order — so the same order always costs the same. That is the only fee Inqlo charges. The shop keeps every pesewa of its listed price; we take nothing from it. The price shown at checkout is the full and final amount — nothing else is ever owed.
No cash at the counter
Your order is fully paid before you arrive. No shop may ask you for cash, or for any payment beyond what you already paid in the app, for any reason. If a shop asks you for money at the counter, report it immediately from your order's status screen — we treat this seriously and it can get a shop suspended.
Refunds
Refunds are always for the full amount — we never do partial refunds. A refund is issued when a shop reports it can't complete your order, when you report you never received it and we've reviewed the case, or at our own discretion. Refunds return to the mobile money account you paid from and arrive within 1–3 days.
Who can use Inqlo
You need to be 18 or older to order, or to have a parent or guardian's permission. One account per person — don't share a sign-in or order on someone else's behalf using their account.
Your documents
You are responsible for what you upload. Every file is recompiled into a fresh PDF before a shop ever sees it, which strips out active content as a side effect — but the responsibility for what's in the document is yours. See our Privacy Policy for how long we keep it and who can see it.
What you may not print
Don't upload anything illegal, anything intended to damage a shop's equipment or our systems, and — the one worth stating plainly on a campus — anything you don't hold the rights to. Printing a textbook, a coursepack, or any material you didn't write and aren't licensed to copy is copyright infringement, and it stays your responsibility even though a shop does the printing.
If you own rights in something you believe was printed through Inqlo without permission, message us on WhatsApp with enough detail to identify it. We will remove the file, and we can suspend the account that uploaded it.
Accounts
You need a phone number or email to place an order — we use it to sign you in and to send order updates. Keep your sign-in to yourself; anyone with access to your account can see your order history.
We may suspend or close an account for fraud, abuse of a shop or its staff, uploading what you aren't allowed to, or repeated non-receipt claims that don't hold up on review. If we do, any order you have already paid for is still honoured or refunded — we don't keep money for an order we won't let you collect.
What we're responsible for, and what we're not
We're responsible for running the app, taking your payment correctly, and handling your document as described in the Privacy Policy. The printing itself is the shop's work — paper, toner, quality and timing are theirs.
If something goes wrong with an order, our responsibility to you is limited to refunding that order in full. We can't take on the knock-on costs of a late or poor print — a missed deadline, a resubmitted assignment — because a service charging 50 pesewas an order cannot carry that risk and still exist. What we can promise is that you never lose your money: full refunds only, no partial ones, and you keep the right to report a shop that didn't deliver.
Nothing here takes away rights you have under Ghanaian consumer law.
Fees can change
We may change the convenience fee as the pilot grows. Any change applies only to orders placed after it takes effect — never to one you've already paid for — and the amount is always shown before you pay.
Changes
We may update these terms as the pilot grows. If something material changes we'll ask you to agree again before your next order, rather than quietly swapping the page.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and any dispute goes to the courts of Ghana. If something has gone wrong, please talk to us on WhatsApp first — nearly everything is a refund and an apology, and that's faster for both of us.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
